Registration, gear inspection & opening

Before the first arrow flies and the castle walls echo with bowstrings, we invite you to gather for a relaxed and friendly start to this year’s Bled Historical Archery Tournament.

Thursday, May 14 marks our opening night - the time to check your gear, meet fellow archers, and ease into the tournament spirit. Whether you're a returning participant or joining us for the first time, this evening sets the tone for the days ahead.

Registration & gear inspection

From 18:00 to 19:00, we’ll be welcoming all competitors at Festivalna dvorana Bled — just a few steps from the lake and a short walk from the town center.This is your time to settle in, complete your registration, and go through the mandatory gear inspection in a calm, friendly atmosphere. Our team will be on hand to help answer questions, check equipment, and make sure you’re ready for the course.

Good company & light refreshments

After registration, stay with us for a relaxed social start to the weekend.We’ll have light refreshments and plenty of time to meet fellow archers, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy the unique sense of community that makes historical archery so special. Consider it a warm-up — not for your bow arm, but for the camaraderie ahead.

What to bring

Please remember to bring:

• your archery gear

• your historical outfit, which should be worn on arrival

• archers with a bow made of natural materials, please bring the bowyer's certificate

Parking will be available at IEDC, Prešernova cesta 25, just a short walk from Festivalna dvorana.
